Dr. Monica D. Brown, DDS
An Aggie-trained scientist, a dentist with deep College Station roots, and a lifelong volunteer whose story reaches from El Paso's Sun Bowl to the families she cares for on Walton Drive.
From El Paso to Aggieland
Science, service, and a life built around people.
Dr. Brown grew up in El Paso and came to Texas A&M University to study genetics, graduating with honors. She went on to earn her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree with honors from the dental school now known as UT Health San Antonio School of Dentistry.
Long before she opened her College Station practice, Monica Daniels was selected as the 1996 Sun Queen. The Sun Court represents El Paso as a group of community ambassadors, appearing at civic events and volunteering throughout the Sun Bowl season.
That spirit of service continued in College Station. Dr. Brown has served A&M Consolidated Tiger Club athletics as a varsity football representative, and the Brown family continues to support the organization. The Bryan-College Station Chamber also recognized her with a 2019 Community Impact Award. Gerry and Monica Brown are also listed as 2025-2026 College Station ISD Education Foundation partners, helping support district programs that include teacher grants, scholarships, and student resources. CSISD records further identify Dr. Brown as a business leader on Pebble Creek Elementary's 2017-2018 Campus Improvement Team and as a parent/community member of its 2021 Academic Achievement and Class Rank Committee.
